TPS Consult Scotland has secured preferred bidder status for a £9 million PFI education contract in Bolton. Architects and engineers at the group are proposing a three-storey, 8,300m 2, multi-use building, incorporating a primary school, library, youth club and other community facilities, as well as offices for the Bolton Metro Education Authority. The Community Learning Resources Centre is described as a 'lifelong learning' project, providing teaching facilities for children and adults.
