Peter Barber Architects has won the 'Innovation in Housing' competition run by the Architecture Foundation and Circle 33 housing association (AJ 28.6.01). The practive beat five others to design a social housing complex for Bow in east London: Circus Architects;

East; Robert Ian Barnes Architects;

White Design from Bristol; and BDB Architects of Germany. There is no prize money.'The prize is getting built, ' said an Architecture Foundation spokeswoman.
