Arthur Harrison is to retire as director of Norman & Underwood's Roofing Division. He has been with the company 50 years, and retires from Norman & Underwood in the year of its 75th anniversary.

ICCROM has named Dr Nicholas Stanley-Price as its seventh directorgeneral. ICCROM is an intergovernmental organisation with a world-wide mandate dealing with the conservation of all types of cultural heritage, and counts 53 of the world's leading conservation institutions as associate members.

The Esher-based office of building surveyors and project managers, CNP, has appointed two new staff and promoted three senior surveyors to associate: Lori Clarke, Robert Perry and Elliott Dawson have moved from surveyor positions to associate directors, and Martin Busson and Brendon Farrelly have been appointed as senior surveyors.
