Anthony Blee has retired as consultant to Blee Ettwein Bridges Architects.The practice has therefore changed its name to Ettwein Bridges Architects.

Watts and Partners has promoted associates Andrew Gear and Gary Sweeney to partners in the practice.

Sweeney will be based at Watts'Glasgow office and Gear at its London (City) office.

Also John Lorriman and Fintan McKiernan have been appointed associates at the London (Blackheath) office while Bernard Moran has been promoted to associate at the Leeds office.

RPW Architects has renamed itself Reardon Smith Architects. Patrick Reardon becomes executive chairman while Conrad Smith becomes managing director.

The architecture and interior design studio of Barber Osgerby Associates has been renamed Universal, and the furniture and industrial design studio renamed Barber Osgerby. Both studios will be based at Second Floor,181 Cannon Street Road, London E1 2LX.

Geoffrey Reid Associates has promoted four members of staff to associate directors. They are architects Klaudia Leihener and Richard Fairhead, IT manager Jevon Tucker and personnel manager Bernice Burton.

Amanda Haughey and Helena Cox have both joined Gray Baynes & Shew Architects in Oxford.
