[First Look] Aedas has unveiled its proposals for a new 57,700 sq m exhibition centre in Pazhou, Guangzhou, China

The scheme features two buildings, the larger a 116-tall building housing conference halls, offices and shops (pictured here), which will sit either side of an existing tower on a spit of land in the Pearl River.

The development has been masterminded by project lead Andrew Bromberg.

  • One for next year's Carbuncle Awards. It is an appalling piece of building design.

  • Playful. I like the dialogue between the two buildings.
