Pawley's witty wisdom: a priceless explanation

Letters

Martin Pawley's article was the funniest piece I've read for a long time in the AJ (26.4.01).

His explanation of architecture being like the stock market - 'Nobody knows what it is about.

It just keeps going up or down or standing still' - is absolutely correct. It should be required reading for students and architects too. Can we have some more of this wisdom please?
