Paul Davis + Partners’ Hong Kong office has been chosen for a 120,000m² masterplan in Ningbo, China

The finalist for this year’s AJ 100 Fastest Growing  Practice award has been appointed to design a mixed-use campus for Gao Investments within the port city’s new high tech zone.

The project – dubbed Smart City – is divided into two zones to allow different scales of development and ‘attract a broad spectrum of businesses.’

The ‘central zone’ will include four office towers and a low-rise office campus while a nearby ‘riverfront zone’ will feature commercial units and luxury villas.

The studio’s China-based arm is currently working on close to 500,000m² of development in Ningbo.

Earlier this year the outfit was also appointed to design 14-storey mixed-use tower in Nanjing which is planned to complete in 2015.
