Director comment: Course is intense as this field is complex and constantly changing but our students tend to form strong bonds among themselves and with the course team, creating a lively and supportive alumni network. This helps us improve the course each year and maintain our up to date teaching programme.

Student comment: I received my bachelors of architecture in Knoxville, TN, US and worked as an intern architect for 3 years following graduation. I chose Brookes because of the specificity of the program and was interested in studying in the UK. I loved the programme. It delivered all that I expected.
- Matt Greg, MSc SB:PD

After completion of the MSc I went straight to work at a local company, Oxford Architects. There I was working as an architect but also in parallel I became in charge of assessing buildings for solar control and CO2 emissions calculations to comply with building regulations. Today, I am working at Foster + Partners in London. Our work always involves very close contact with energy consultants and sustainability experts. The knowledge and expertise acquired during the MSc has become invaluable for me to feel confident as an architect working within multi disciplined design teams.
-Yerko Jeria, MSc SB:PD
