Partners and staff from the AJ 100, the country's largest employers of architects, were out in force at the party to celebrate publication of the Corussponsored survey in last week's issue. Allgood kindly supplied the venue and refreshments for the bash, which also enlivened the pub across the road afterwards.

construction activity in the city is going like the clappers, and various firms are in the process of setting up offices there. All are mystified by the lack of signage at New Street Station indicating the best entrance/exit which gets you quickly into the Victorian city centre with its attractive pedestrian routes. It is worth seeking out.
