John Seifert Architects has won planning permission for a £30 million 350-bed hotel in London's Whitechapel High Street. The nine-storey, four- star hotel with barrel vault, central atrium and curved glass flanks on facades of red sandstone and metal panels will also include a new entrance to Aldgate East underground station.
