News in brief: Cricket's leading lights on the tiles

Neon lights and wall tiles of cricketers have been used by Aukett Associates for its recent refurbishment of Oval tube station. The

£9.2 million project, near Surrey's main cricket ground, includes exterior cladding, glass canopy and fibre-optic uplighters sunk into the pavement. Graphic designer Minale Tattersfield created the tiles showing legendary cricketers such as Jack Hobbs.
