A masterplan and housing scheme in Alperton, a housing scheme in Stepney, a mixed-use conversion, and an extension of a mews development in Marylebone.
Also a feasibility study of a mixed-use development in Cable Street What CPD have you undertaken in the past year? Various RIBA certified/formal CPD seminars including: timber deck design by the Outdoor Deck Company; insulated walls and floors by Kingspan; blinds and partitions by Silent Gliss; ICI paint systems by Dulux Paints; single-ply roofing by SPRA; lightweight blocks and prefab building components by H+H Celcon; and PI insurance by Howden Insurance Brokers My experience has also included various design lectures and exhibitions, such as: Mies van der Rohe at the Whitechapel Gallery;
Marsyas at the Turbine Hall, Tate Modern, London; a lecture by Hideki Yoshimatsu and Sasa Begovic, 'Emerging Architecture' lecture series at the RIBA; Trail and error, a lecture on cantilevered staircase history and design by Sam Price and Arup Associates at the Building Centre; and the work of Cecil Balmond, Jencks Prize in Architecture lecture What was most valuable? Design lectures give you a glimpse of what's happening out there. Seeing the work and a glimpse into the thoughts of Cecil Balmond was most inspiring. Where would architects be without engineers like him?
