Museum explores new option for floors

  • Comment

Nile Brown carpet from Collins & Aikman's Explorer range has been laid in the central court of Oxford University's Museum of Natural History to protect the worn flagstone fl oor. Made by Tandus, the loop-pile carpet in 1/13 gauge resists fading from daylight through the vaulted glass roof, while the pointillist brown-and-grey-pindot design complements the interior decor of the Victorian Gothic building.

The 2m-wide PVC-backed sheet was installed by Commercial Carpet Solutions.
