Architects will now have a single port of call to get advice on designing with a variety of metals. Corus, the company formed last year by the merger of British Steel and Hoogovens, has set up a multi-disciplinary advice team, based in Scunthorpe. This 'one-stop shop' replaces the previous British Steel advisory services, which were dotted around the country, based around the different product groups, and hence difficult to access. There will also be a team in London comprising four engineers and one architect, Matt Teague, previously with London Underground. For more information visit the website at www.corusconstruction.com
