'Movement' which is showing at the Design Museum until tomorrow (25 February), is an exhibition of work by furniture designer Peter Opsvic.

Since the 1970s, Opsvic has attempted to make us radically rethink the way we sit. Opsvic's seating concepts encourage the user to avoid 'stagnation' and stay on the move, even when seated.

Those north of the border will be able to see 'Movement' between 10 March and 14 April at the Glasgow Lighthouse, Page and Park's transformation of Mackintosh's Herald building. Everything in the exhibition can be tried out, including 'Garden,' shown here. There is something instinctively reassuring (and fun) about sitting at this height. Try it for yourself ...

'Movement' will be at the Lighthouse in Glasgow from 10 March to 14 April. Peter Obsvic's furniture is available through Stocker UK. Tel 01895 442990.
