Holly Porter's piece (AJ 16.05.05) about young architects finding their feet strikes a chord. The RIBA's Young Practitioners Panel needs much more backing to be able to support new architects through the discovery of real life. Generation for Collaboration (at www. g4cbeonline. co. uk) helps young professionals across the industry, and opens eyes, and doors, to the unconfined world of the built environment. There is so much they don't tell you at architecture school these days.
