On show at the riba in Portland Place until June 3 is a new exhibition of photographs by Richard Glover about the transformation of Bankside Power Station into the Tate Modern (below). Glover was commissioned by the Tate todocument change over the last two years but some prints go back to 1993. On one of his first visits he was alerted to danger zones by the caretaker but was left alone to explore before locking up. The door in question was of 6m high plate steel.
