In all the publicity about the new Millennium Bridge, one person has been notable by his absence: engineer Chris Wise, who worked on the project while he was still at Ove Arup. So why no mentions? First, because he no longer works at Arup, and in timehonoured fashion, those that depart the nest cannot expect to be remembered fondly, at least not for a few years. Second, because Chris complained, in an interview in RIBA Journal , that he was being cold-shouldered by Norman. Not a Wise thing to do.
