UK architects look set to be free to practice in Mexico and Canada under new reciprocity agreements. RIBA vice president for international affairs John Wright said last week that European Union representatives have secured a meeting in Mexico in November and the signs that agreement will be reached are 'very positive.' Comparable negotiations are also under way in Canada. The progress stands in stark contrast to negotiations between the EU and the US, which have reached stalemate.
