The clients were preparing to move into one of a number of apartments which had been recently converted from an existing agricultural building in Surrey. The brief to refurbish the apartment was developed in close consultation with the client to achieve a bright and contemporary interior to complement the existing traditional building construction. The major elements of the design included shelves for an extensive book collection and a new staircase. The £35,000 project also included redecoration, installing two new bathrooms, new floors and storage. The structural engineer was Abraham Consulting Engineer and the main contractor was Ettrick Construction.
