John McAslan & Partners has won planning permission for this 17,000m² residential scheme in Campden Hill, north west London

Containing 69 ‘luxury’ flats, the 0.8 hectare project is part of a joint venture between Native Land and Grosvenor.

Construction of the development – which features 78 underground car parking spaces and a leisure and spa facility – is set to start in autumn 2013 after a temporary school on the site relocates to Holland Park Academy.

Aidan Potter, director of design at John McAslan + Partners said: ‘Our design at Campden Hill will create world class apartments to fully realise the potential of what is truly,  a unique site within a contemporary  design  which has been carefully  integrated into the  sensitive setting of Holland Park and the local neighbourhood.’

Craig McWilliam, Grosvenor Developments executive director added: ‘This development reflects Grosvenor’s strategy to build on our extensive experience of the prime residential sector, with a particular focus on London, where we are seeing huge demand for luxury properties.

‘Campden Hill is a world-class apartment scheme that will have international, as well as domestic, appeal.’

The scheme was approved by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
