[FIRST LOOK + PROJECT DATA] Swimming pool specialists FaulknerBrowns Architects has submitted plans for this £13 million leisure centre in Rushden, Northamptonshire

Th new Manor Park Leisure Centre, for East Northamptonshire Council and Rushden Town Council, will feature a six-lane, 25-metre swimming pool, featuring a floating floor to help swimmers with disabilities.

The scheme will replace the town’s ageing Splash Leisure Pool in Station Road and Pemberton Centre in H.E. Bates Way, which have been earmarked as key ‘regeneration sites’.

As well as the pool, the leisure centre will also house a six-court sports hall, a sauna and steam room, café, dance studios, health suite and a flexible space which can be used as a crèche of for community meetings and events.
