Make Architects has landed outline planning permission for its £250 million Hornsey Gas Works redevelopment scheme in north London
Stuart Blower, Make partner, said: ‘Extensive stakeholder consultation has been undertaken and we are thrilled to be a step closer to realising the vision of a residential-led scheme with quality open space, including a major new public square.’
London Development Agency director of development Stephen Kennard added: ‘Clarendon Square has the potential to create an exciting new community hub, with a thousand new homes around a new public square. This decision will mean we can now move to the next stage and begin to find a developer for this former industrial site.’
The London Borough of Haringey’s outline planning consent is subject to signing a section 106 agreement with National Grid Property and the London Development Agency.
