Lovely architects with the common touch

Letters

I too have just read The Life of William Hogarth. I too like to listen to jazz and a comprehensive mix of other musics (aj 17/24.12.98). My bedroom is lilac-white with wooden floors (elm) and semilucent fabric panels over the lower sash. I live in a 1770 listed apartment (paid for).

But there, alas, the synchronicity with your portfolio of lovely architects ends. For I am entrenched in class 8 and could never aspire to a soul- mate in the elite sector. Perhaps your architects should have answered the question: 'What are architects not very good at doing?' with: 'We are not very good at the being properly elite stuff.' Thank goodness!
