Geoffrey Reid Associates has won detailed approval for a £30 million mixed-use scheme in Loughborough. The Rushes will include 19,000m 2of shops and a health and fitness centre with a swimming pool. There will be parking for 430 cars and the 33 flats overlooking the shops will include balconies.

Work is due to start in January.

This tower of terracotta, stone and glass is set to go up in Chiswick after the design by Livesey O'Malley won outline approval from Hounslow council. The 13storey, 20,000m 2office project will have an exhibition space and atrium on the ground floor.
