One wonders whether designers of women's public loos, in making sure the inward-opening door doesn't actually wedge against the lavatory bowl, forget that a person will be trying to press herself between that bowl and the wall as the door scrapes past her (or doesn't). And that's without considering young children, shopping, etc.
I have checked with the bsi and I am surprised to find that there are no minimum dimensions for lavatory cubicles. How can this be remedied?
