[PQQs must be returned by 7 June] The Greater London Authority is seeking members for a new architecture, design and urbanism procurement panel
Run in partnership with Transport for London (TfL), the panel is expected to handle around £30 million worth of work over three years.
The framework has been created as part of a bid by the organisations to promote ‘quality architecture, public realm, urban regeneration and sustainable development in the capital.’
Open to architects and design professionals, the panel is seeking ‘experienced and up and coming talent’ to bring about a ‘unique and real difference to the future of London.’
Companies with ‘vision, creativity, first-class skills, capability and the drive to achieve world-class thinking and design’ are called for.
The framework replaces the Greater London Authority-run ‘LDA Architecture, Landscape and Urban Design Panel’ set up in 2008 and TfL’s ‘Urban Realm Design Framework’ from 2005. TfL will act as the procurement agent for the new panel.
Contracts will be awarded in October. The deadline for the return of PQQs is 7 June.
