YRM has completed a £15 million computer 'hotel' in London Docklands to house 'supercomputers' which power the internet. The scheme is the second phase in a development started by the practice 10 years ago. It features an administrative pavilion using timber and glass and a high-security technical building using aluminium panels and ribbon windows. The so-called computer hotels are springing up around the edges of major European cities. One estimate of the market for them in Europe in the next two years is £20 billion.
