London mayor Ken Livingstone has been hit by complaints from both the Greater London Assembly and outer London boroughs.

Liberal Democrat Sally Hamwee, chair of the assembly, accused Livingstone of not supporting Crystal Palace as a venue for the World Athletics Championships following the demise of the Picketts Lock development. She claims it will seriously damage London's chances of hosting the 2012 Olympic Games. Outer London boroughs then accused the mayor and the London Development Agency of ignoring their interests in their transport and funding policies.
