The RIBA rebranding exercise being conducted by the Fourth Room consultancy is not all dull analysis. At one recent meeting, the question of the lions on the corporate logo was raised.
'There will have to be a female lion or there will be trouble, ' suggested one of those present. 'At the moment you have two males.'
'How can you tell they're male?
President Marco Goldschmied rose to the occasion: 'Because they both have . . . manes!' The lions, in some form or another, will definitely stay, by the way.
