2of paint grade and fairfaced Lignacite was used on the new HSBC Tower in London's Canary Wharf. Specified by Foster and Partners, Lignacite has been used extensively on the development. Lignacite uses graded wood particles - a waste product from the joinery industry which makes the product 'greener', warmer and lighter, compared with its concrete counterparts, while having similar acoustic properties. Its smooth finish makes it ideal for fairfaced and paint grade applications.
