Lighting the Eye

  • Comment

The 38 trees on the approach to the London Eye are now blossoming blue - all year round. They have been illuminated with a new Lumisphere Multi-LED linear festoon system which consists of 150 IP68 light units attached to five festoon cables at 30cm centres on each tree. Each unit contains a twin, high-intensity light module consuming between 0.07 and 0.2W according to the setting of the central dimmer control unit.
