How can we encourage women to muscle in?

That photograph says it all (review of Westminster University's 'Four Women Architect's' event, aj 23.3.00) ... a standing male chairman muscling his way in between seated females! But seriously, what have other professions done to encourage women into 'boys' jobs'? And what can I do to help Part 3 women who are discouraged?
