Newly-honoured Zara Lamont is taking the helm at the Confederation of Construction Clients (CCC), replacing interim chief executive Terry Rochester, who has steered the body since its creation in December 2000. Lamont comes to the CCC after two-and-a-half years as director of the Construction Best Practice Programme. Lamont said: 'The drive to reform working practices in the industry has to be led by the client side.The CCC, liaising with the supply side, is focusing on helping to implement a wide range of procedures designed to improve performance.'
