Keith Williams Architects has been shortlisted for a high-profile arts projects in Austria, Norway and Germany
- In Austria, Williams is the only UK architect to be shortlisted to redesign the 1980’s Kulturzentrum in Eisenstadt. The €15 million project should redefine the town centre and remodel the existing building.
- In Tønsberg near Olso, Williams’ office is again the only UK practice in a shortlist of six to design the new Støperiet Culture House, which will restore a former wharf building from 1903 and add a 3,000m² building with galleries, music teaching spaces and a theatre.
- In Frankfurt, Williams has been invited to submit a proposal for a new public exhibition building on a site containing a series of medieval and Roman archaeological remains (see photograph below).
- In Alzenau, just outside Frankfurt, the firm has been asked to propose a design for a new music school and 1,000 seat event hall.
