MPs will this week warn the government against changing its policies on building on the green belt - and urge that development should be on brownfield sites wherever possible. The House of Commons Environment, Transport and the Regions Committee is set to publish its report on the government's forthcoming Urban White Paper today. The committee held a lengthy inquiry into the White Paper, which will outline the government's urban regeneration policies and will be published this summer.
