Katerina Ruedi

Katerina Ruedi is the director and professor at the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to her appointment at Chicago in 1996, Ruedi directed the diploma course in architecture at Kingston University and taught at the Architectural Association and the Bartlett. She was the co-organiser of 'Desiring Practices', a project spanning a symposium, exhibitions and publications which examined the relationship between architecture, gender and interdisciplinary practices. She has published and lectured extensively in the uk, Europe and North America and her built work has been published and won awards. She is currently working on a book on the image economy and gender identity at the Bauhaus.
