Harpers, a London-based design consultant, has just launched three new table concepts. Featured below is Series T, a range of tension-cable and rod-stabilised tables available as three or four-leg arrangements with circular, square or triangular tops in both standard and low-height versions. It is possible to incorporate logos, games or decoration into the table tops which can be supplied, on demand, in virtually any material - glass, veneered timber, reconstituted stone, or leather. Holzapfel's new Horizonte partitioning system includes frameless glazed partitioning with sliding or hinged doors to the full height of the room. The side partitions comprise horizontal and vertical solid elements, with glazing above; sections are in aluminium. Horizontal elements (acoustic panels in a choice of finishes) can incorporate integral cable ducts below or above working level and a hinged flap allows easy access to wiring and power points. Rebecca Aird of Mu-juice Creative Mosaics is a mosaic artist specialising in decoration of both commercial and residential properties. All pieces are made to order and commissions vary from client to client, but company logos are much in demand. Aird says that she is working on ways 'to enhance the luminosity of glass tesserae by the use of back-lighting on floor and wall mosaics'.
