Infamous institution hopes for bright future

Letters

Some time ago a bright spark (can't think who) came up with the notion of changing the name of the RIBA and I, among others, suggested some alternatives. But, having now noticed the resemblance of our ex-director general to a certain David Nixon (come on, you remember, the guy who used to pull rabbits out of hats) more infamy may yet be lurking in the big black cauldron . . .

So 'my friends' (. . . sorry Herb. . . ) Beware 'Reid's Ignis-fatuus for British Architects! !', Toady (sic) Portland Place . . . tomorrow . . . ?
