Historic Scotland has given approval for the refurbishment of Glasgow's Grade A India Tyre Building by bds Gibb Architects. The £4.5 million job will involve turning the Art Deco tyre plant into an office development for Graham Technology. Work starts next April and ends in September 2001. The architects and clients are keen to know more about lost artefacts from the plant or design details lost. Contact 0141 891 4000 or 0141 332 9122.
