The RICS will be hosting a seminar on 'Rethinking control of buildings' on 4 December. The seminar will cover the body's findings from its report on Part III of the Building Act (1984).

Tickets for the event are free and enquiries should be directed to 020 7222 7000 or bcforum@rics. org. uk. The seminar will be held at the RICS headquarters, 12 Great George Street in London.

RMA Architects has won planning consent for this residential development on the River Orwell in Ipswich. The scheme contains 29 flats within a seven-storey structure. The building will be finished in render and terracotta rainscreen cladding. Construction is due to start early in the new year.
