WEMBLEY WAY: The English National Stadium Trust has made a secret decision on which of three shortlisted practices it wants to design the new National Stadium as a replacement for Wembley. Bob Heaver, head of the Trust, said its choice - thought to be Foster and Partners/hok and Lobb Partnership rather than Arup Associates or Michael Hopkins and Partners - still had to be ratified, but that he was 'fairly confident'. An announcement is expected next week.
