Ushida Findlay Architects unveiled its 2,300m 2Grafton New Hall scheme on Tuesday - winner of the RIBA Modern Country House competition.The brief called for reinterpretation of the English country house on a 46ha site in Cheshire.The practice opted for an 'organic' design 'offering an alternative to the tired old townie cliche of minimalism'.
