Two famous London hospitals are to have new developments built next door to them: a 21,000m2 building next to Guy's Hospital and a 39,000m2 redevelopment next to St Thomas's Hospital. The pfi deals will cost around £170 million, and French builder Bouygues has been awarded the construction contract. It is backed by Pelham Partners and Bankers Trust.
