in brief: George Trew Dunn in £140m hospital pfi

  • Comment

The George Trew Dunn Partnership is working flat out to overhaul a 1970s hospital by Powell Moya, costing £140 million in total. The hospital in Woolwich, South London, is mostly of prefabricated concrete and was built on the Oxford method system for the MoD. The current owner is the local health authority which wants to reinstate the building, including a 10- storey residential block, under pfi, using Kvaerner as the builder. Construction costs will be around £70 million, with legal fees comprising much of the remainder.
