IN BRIEF: Dearle and Henderson

  • Comment

London practice Dearle and Henderson has won planning permission for this £7 million residential scheme in Wembley, north London. The 42-apartment project will replace six semi-detached houses that currently occupy the site. The project will include one-, two- and three-bedroom flats, with 13 allocated as affordable housing. The planning officer described the scheme as setting a precedent for future developments in the London Borough of Brent. Density and parking were key issues as the site is adjacent to a conservation area.

The scheme is for developer Bellway Homes.
