Daniel and Nina Libeskind, in Osnabruck last week for the opening of their Felix Nussbaum Gallery, plan to open satellite offices in San Francisco and London, if and when the v&a extension gets under way. Those interested in working for Studio Libeskind should note Nina's insights into recruitment decisions: 'We only hire people who are tall and thin or short and thin because there's no room in the office.' Nationality is also a factor: 'I always make sure there are enough Americans in the office to make up a game of football. I'm very active.' Sports fanatics might also consider working for Frank Gehry, who, she tells me, gets up at six every morning to play ice hockey with his office team. Party animals should definitely apply to Danny and Nina, however. 'It's a blast!' she reports, 'We have the best parties in town.' Listen out for news about a Libeskind project in Guadalajara . . .
