Heron Tower has finally cleared Tower 42 to become the tallest structure in The City

Construction of KPF’s 43-story skyscraper has pushed its height beyond 138m, making it officially the tallest City building to be built in 30 years.

Tower 42 was the tallest completed structure in the city with 42-storeys, it was completed in 1980 and designed by Richard Seifert.

  • What a dull skyline our city now offers. This blandishment is another nail in the coffin of London's architectural prestige. Heron Tower would be a poor addition to a third rate American city.
    Shame on you, KPF.
