Helsinki is planning a design and build competition for a series of city centre skyscrapers
The State of Finland and the City of Helsinki are seeking a developer and architect for the 200,000m² mixed-use development.
The project – close to the busy Pasila transport hub (pictured) – will feature housing and offices in up to 10 towers of around 15-storeys.
The competition organisers are inviting interested parties to attend a competition seminar on 3 December.
Participants at the event may discuss the competition programme before it is launched and request private meetings with the organisers.
Details will then be finalised by spring and the competition will be formally launched in September next year.
The City of Helsinki is expected to publish registration details for the seminar on its website soon.
