focus briefing

Formed from a single piece of clear, slumped glass, Cini Boeri and Tomu Katayanagi's elegant Ghost Chair for Fiam Italia, is part of an international exhibition supported by the Bombay Sapphire Foundation.

Ever keen to showcase its support for innovative design, in its latest offering the foundation explores the versatility of glass in contemporary design, and includes Swarovski chandeliers, copper-bound hand-blown glass tableware and double-chamber champagne flutes. A number of the exhibits are short listed entries for the ú20,000 Bombay Sapphire Prize, won in 2003 by UK designer Paul Cocksedge.
